Well it is a sequel so if you played the first game you do know what you are getting into. This game does not reinvent the first game but it definitely adds more than enough quality of life changes to warrant a purchase if you played the original. Of course the biggest change is that the game 's battles are now in third person rather than first. This can be good as it gives more chances to showcase the characters' personalities though this comes at the cost of more chibi enemies which are more deformed than the first game. The story like in the first game is humorous with its serious moments but in my opinion it is well written enough that you can enjoy the characters and how they react to events.
